Caring for the Caregiver: A Spiritual Perspective
Caring for others is a sacred task — but it can leave us empty if we’re not also caring for ourselves.
Spiritually, caregiving invites us into compassion, humility, and sacrifice. But even Jesus took time to withdraw, rest, and pray. We must, too.
Here are a few gentle reminders for the caregiver’s soul:
💧 You are not the source, but you are a vessel. Stay connected to God daily.
🌤️ Permission to pause is holy. Rest is not laziness — it’s replenishment.
💬 You need someone to listen, too. Find safe spaces for spiritual and emotional processing.
As you pour out, make space to be poured into. We’re here to help that happen.
