About Doug and Janet Rose
Doug and Janet Rose are a husband-and-wife team with a shared passion for helping people grow through life’s hardest seasons. With over 30 years of combined experience in public speaking, coaching, emotional and spiritual leadership, and team development, they’ve guided individuals and organizations toward purpose, clarity, and healing.
Together, they created HeartRoots Resilience to offer support where it’s needed most — to those who give so much of themselves: caregivers, teachers, ministry leaders, and teams who serve others daily. Doug brings decades of hands-on experience in the caregiving field and behavioral coaching. Janet draws from years in office management, training coordination, and leading others through spiritual and emotional growth.
Their journey hasn’t been without hardship — and it’s that lived experience that grounds their work. “We’ve walked through burnout, transition, loss, and growth ourselves,” Janet says. “HeartRoots was born from our own need to reconnect with the values that keep us going.”
They believe resilience isn’t just about bouncing back — it’s about being rooted in what truly matters.
When they’re not teaching or coaching, Doug and Janet enjoy deep dinner table conversations — the kind that spark laughter, challenge assumptions, and inspire new podcast episodes. (They’ve joked more than once that “we should just record dinner tonight.”) one and only
